Born in 1974, Ayize Jama-Everett hails from the Harlem of old. In his time on the planet, he’s traveled extensively throughout the world; Malaysia, East and North Africa, Mexico, New Hampshire-before settling temporally in Northern California. With Master’s degrees in psychology and divinity, he’s taught at the Graduate and high school level as well as and worked as a therapist.
He is the author of three novels, The Liminal People (2009), The Liminal War (2016), andThe Entropy of Bones (2016), as well as the graphic novel with illustrator John Jennings entitled Box of Bones (2018). When he’s not writing, teaching, or sermonising, he’s usually practicing his aim.
