We appreciate and welcome your support!
Our third annual event, AfroComicCon 2019, took place on October 19-20, 2019 at the SAE Expressions College in Emeryville, CA. The inaugural event in 2017 was a huge success, drawing more than 300 community members, and we are in the process of raising $100,000 to produce another successful event this year.
AfroComicCon is an annual comic convention to promote and empower diverse artists in the arts, media, and entertainment industry. There is a large under-representation of Blacks, Latinos, and Asians in the art and media entertainment and AfroComicCon seeks to promote and empower these diverse artists by providing a platform and venue for them to share their artwork with the community.
AfroComicCon would not be possible without the help of passionate and dedicated volunteers, community art and media grants, and sponsorships to operate year-round to produce a successful event in October.
That is why we are inviting you to partner with us through sponsorship to help us achieve our target funding goal.
Your sponsorship allows us to provide outreach to the community, sign on experts and professionals of color in the art and media industry to present at the event, and cover event materials like name tags, banners, and brochures. Furthermore, your partnership would allow AfroComicCon to provide refreshments, costumes for children, workshops, and promotional material. Your company will be recognized as partners in the production of a creative space for artists of color to present their work to the community.
