AfroComicCon Free Youth

Free Youth Community Day Update!

We’re excited to announce that the AfroComicCon Free Youth Community Day is set for Sunday, October 21st,
from 11 am  – 3 pm at Chapter 510 & the Dept. of Make Believe!

Chapter 510 & the Dept. of Make Believe provides tutoring, creative writing workshops, and publishing opportunities for K-12 students in Oakland. We share a vision for Oakland as a place where our youth and their perspectives are visible and our teachers are honored and supported. The Dept. of Make Believe is the magical bureaucracy that supports Chapter 510’s youth programs.  It is a place to come dream, wish, imagine, and create with us. And to buy inspiring things and/or donate to get your official Permit to Make Believe or License to Dream.  AfroComicCon 2018 is proud to partner with Chapter 510 & the Dept. of Make Believe to present this year’s AfroComicCon Free Yourh Community Day!

Chapter 510 & The Dept. of Make Beleive is located at 2301 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94612.
See you there Sunday, October 21st, from 11 am  – 3 pm!
